Iranian Hospitality

Iran is the land of history, kindness and beautiful nature. Many people try to reserve Iran hotels (especially book Tehran hotel) in order to become familiar with Iranian culture. Its teachings emphasize strongly on this issue (hospitality). One of these teachings is a respectful reception of the guests. Traditional Iranians welcome their guests cordially.  There is a famous proverb amongst  Iranian that says a guest is loved by God.(Hotel Iran)

Hospitality, a moral character that Iranian are famous for, refers to the works done to provide relief and convenience for the guest. This feature has been an obvious trait of Iranian from many years ago even from ancient time.

So, if you have decided to travel to Iran, you can travel with peace of mind. Wherever you arrive, from large cities such as Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashhad and Yazd to small villages, remote areas and even in the heart of the desert, sure you will receive a warm welcome from Iranian. Contrary to the negative images portrayed by the media against Iran, Iranian like foreigners very much and welcome them kindly. This trait does not relate at all to their economic status. In any economic situation, they try their utmost to provide comfort for you and help you in your affairs. They may invite you for a cup of tea, a meal or even bid you stay at their house for a couple of days instead of a hotel. They never want anything in return. They just like to show the real image of Iran and Iranian to the world. They want to demonstrate world that they are not spleenful and violent as media shows.(Iran hotel)

Iranian enjoy talking to foreigners. A thing that you should know is that they are too curious to know your opinion regarding western countries' policy towards Iran. Usually, youths like to start a conversation with you about the political and economic status of your country and also your lifestyle. So, don't worry about these questions and just answer them kindly. Sure at the end, you will leave Iran with sweet memories and never forget their warm reception.

Statue of Ferdowsi

Many tourists who are interested in reserve Tehran hotels or book Iran hotels, might be interested to know about Iranian culture and Persian poems.

Abul Qasim Ferdowsi Tusi or Ferdowsi, was an Iranian poet and the author of the epic of Shahnameh ("Book of Kings"), which is the world's longest epic poem created by a single poet, and the national epic of Iran and the Greater Iran. Having drafted the Shahnameh almost 1000 years ago, Ferdowsi is celebrated as the most influential figure in Persian literature and one of the greatest in the history of literature. He is widely regarded as the greatest poet in the Persian language. He was called "The Lord of the Word" and "The Savior of Persian Language".

Ferdowsi tomb:

He was buried in his own garden, burial in the cemetery of Tus having been forbidden by a local cleric. A Ghaznavid governor of Khorasan constructed a mausoleum over the grave and it became a revered site. The tomb, which had fallen into decay, was rebuilt between 1928 and 1934 by the Society for the National Heritage of Iran and has now become the equivalent of a national shrine.(Tehran hotel)

Shahnameh:

Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is the most popular and influential national epic in Iran and other Persian-speaking nations. The Shahnameh is the only surviving work by Ferdowsi regarded as indisputably genuine. He may have written poems earlier in his life but they no longer exist. A narrative poem, Yūsof o Zolaykā (Joseph and Zuleika), was once attributed to him, but the scholarly consensus now rejects the idea it is his. There has also been speculation about the satire Ferdowsi allegedly wrote about Mahmud of Ghazni after the Sultan failed to reward him sufficiently.

Today Statues of Ferdowsi are placed inside and outside Iran. A street in Tehran was named after him (Ferdowsi street) and also a square (Ferdowsi square). Also in Milad tower and even in Rome, Italy, there is a Ferdowsi statue.(Iran hotel)
